The class received a special thanks this week from 6th class for singing beautifully at their Ceremony of Light in the build up to Confirmation.
Maths
We continued to learn how to get a percentage of a number and added to this by being able to add or decrease a total by a percentage. The children were really engaged and showed great progress
English
We continued out class novel, Ratburger. The kids also learned about war in Syria and sent an email of what they felt a day in war would feel like. A reminder that all kids have spellings and class readers home each week.
Irish
We used our verb, name and additional information techniques to say what we were wearing and what other people were putting on.
P.E
The children continued to receive fantastic coaching from Mr.Hand. Learning new skills in Gaelic football and we had a very fun game of Rounders.
