Another busy week, this is a taste of what we have covered.
Maths
Area and perimeter. Children learned the difference in area and perimeter. How to calculate both and also how to find missing values using the information given.
Irish
To begin celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge we had crosswords, word searchs and bingo using numbers and months of the year. Kids got a certificate for participation.
Geography
We learned about Brazil. The key features, traditions, food and facts about the rainforest.
English
We had a very successful world book day. Kids dressed up and associated a word with their outfit. We teamed up with 1st class and read in the library. The kids also took part in quizzes during the day. Well done to all.

Tuesday we will attend St. Louis Grammar School to watch their performance of the musical Popstars.
