The kids worked really hard this week developing their awareness of shapes and their properties. Investigating if shapes can tesselate or not. At the end of the week and into next week then kids are cementing their knowledge of fraction. Today they were able to switch between proper, improper and mixed fractions.
English
Children used the Chromebooks to write their story about transforming into an animal. Ask them all about it. We also worked on our spelling and reading with some kids moving up reading levels so a big well done to them.
Art
The kids used folding and cutting to make beautiful snowflakes and as a whole class made a wonderful Christmas village which can be seen in our assembly hall.
Irish
We continued to work on our vocabulary, learning all about Christmas.
Christmas Play
We look forwardto seeing you all next Wednesday to showcase all the hard work that has gone into A Christmas Carol.
