Our amazing 6th class students have truly outdone themselves by writing and performing their very own play. I am in awe of how fantastic you all were. An emotional performance for students, parents and teachers.These are truely a talented group of children. And yes, we will miss them when they're gone!👏☕️🎶🤗
Despite the busy schedule of rehearsals for our performance we achieved an incredible amount this week. We read a new story in English, learnt about Nollaig (Christmas) in Irish with new phrases. We further develop our maths skills with multiplying fractions by whole number and other fractions.
To top it all off we even created our winter art scene, wrote an acrostic winter poem and drew an advent candle marking the christian countdown to Christmas. We discussed the true meaning of Christmas, the significance of each candle. Bringing hope, peace, joy and love. The children shared what their interpretation and what it means to them❤️
This week has been a testament to our students' ability to balance creativity, hard work and reflective insight. Well done to everyone on their remarkable efforts!
