Week 14th February
Happy Valentine's Day ๐ ๐
This week we have been busy working on persuasive writing. We hope to improve and develop our writing skills over the next few weeks. We have started a new novel this week and look forward to delving in and learning all about the, "Five Children on the Western Front."
In maths we continue to work on factors, divisors, common factors and multiples, highest common factor (HCF), lowest common multiple(LCM).
In Gaeilge we continue to work on Caitheamh Aimsire (hobby). We worked on what we do Gach Deireadh Seachtaine (every weekend). "Is breá liom an deireadh seachtaine."(I love the weekend). We also looked at some ceisteanna (questions) in relation to ag rothaíocht (riding a bike ).
We are working on individual and/or group projects about a country of our choice. The children are learning about their chosen countries location, flag, history, weather and many other facts. We hope to present these projects to the whole school once they are completed.
